Store them properly. Each tab of Trichogramma wasps contains approx. 3,300 eggs. These need to be kept refrigerated to prevent the eggs from hatching until you are ready to release them.
Hang tabs in affected tree and shrubs. Each tab covers approximately 100 square feet of space. Small trees may require only tab, while larger trees may require several.
Tabs can be hung from a small branch or nailed to the tree.
Be patient. Wasps need 2 – 3 weeks to bring pests under control.
Always use pesticides with care. Trichogramma wasps can be killed by some organic pesticides as well as chemical ones. If you must spray, use a specific treatment such as bacillus thuringiensis (Bt)
